As Eddie Horniman and Susie Glass expand their criminal operation beyond the English countryside and into Italy, the wardrobe follows suit. The new season is filled with beautifully cut clothes, luxury surroundings and some very distinctive eyewear.

The frame is large, dark and heavily constructed, with a substantial square front and visible metal detailing. There's an almost architectural quality to it.
Where Eddie's sunglasses are restrained, Bobby's optical glasses occupy considerably more space on the face. And that matters.
Heavy black spectacles have always had the ability to project authority, but exaggerating the proportions makes the effect even stronger. It's a look particularly associated with some of the bolder designer eyewear produced during the 1980s and early 1990s.
