• A rare limited edition colourway of the iconic Preciosa 940 Goliath glasses, finished in smoky olive green acetate. Finished in translucent smoky olive-green acetate, with subtle grey undertones that give the frame a muted, sophisticated appearance. The transparency of the acetate creates slightly deeper tones around the bold outer rims, emphasising the oversized Preciosa 940 shape. With its oversized square shape, deep lenses and substantial proportions, this is eyewear designed to make an impact. Originally designed in the 1970s, the Preciosa 940 is one of the great statement frames of its era. Made in Holland by the family-run Dutch eyewear company Frame Holland, it's distinctive oversized design later became associated with the Goliath / Ultra Goliath style and has strong links with film and hip-hop culture, including Casino, Ocean's 13 and Run DMC. This limited edition smoky olive green version is particularly unusual and is a one-off frame with no restock. This is a genuinely large, oversized frame and is ideal for someone looking for deliberately bold eyewear rather than a subtle everyday shape. Please check measurements carefully before ordering.
