• A rare limited edition colourway of the iconic Preciosa 940 Goliath glasses, Blonde Tortoiseshell. Finished in a striking blonde tortoiseshell acetate, combining a warm ivory base with irregular black, charcoal and dark brown markings. The high-contrast pattern makes each section of the oversized Precisoa 940 frame slightly different, giving this limited edition colourway a particularly distinctive appearance. With its oversized square shape, deep lenses and substantial proportions, this is eyewear designed to make an impact. Originally designed in the 1970s, the Preciosa 940 is one of the great statement frames of its era. Made in Holland by the family-run Dutch eyewear company Frame Holland, it's distinctive oversized design later became associated with the Goliath / Ultra Goliath style and has strong links with film and hip-hop culture, including Casino, Ocean's 13 and Run DMC. This frame is individually numbered 1 of just 25 produced in this limited edition colourway. This is a genuinely large, oversized frame and is ideal for someone looking for deliberately bold eyewear rather than a subtle everyday shape. Please check measurements carefully before ordering.
