Pierre Cardin Rectangular Fold Up 1960's
by Pierre Cardin-
This 1960's Pierre Cardin fold-up sunglasses frame is a total rarity . New old stock, with grey lenses. 100% UV protection. This is a real collectors piece. Brown mottled acetate with super wide rims houses the square shaped lenses. The temporal sides are off-set, the right lower than the left, to allow the folding mechanism. A truly wonderful frame, in superb condition. The Pierre Cardin fashion house was founded in 1950, and was well known for space age, avant-garde designs. This is not just a frame, this is history. The shape is reminiscent to that worn by Michael Caine in Pulp (1972).
All spectacles supplied with a brand new spectacle case and a Retro Spectacle microfibre cleaning cloth.
