• Original Metzler 3097 vintage glasses in colour 438, made in Germany in the 1970s. This distinctive women's frame features a deep, softly squared lens shape in translucent acetate that graduates from crystal into a delicate purple tone. A subtle shimmer runs through the acetate, catching the light without overpowering the frame. Fine silver-tone metal detailing connects the acetate front to the temples, adding another characteristic 1970s design detail. These glasses are new, unused vintage stock. Although the lenses have the generous depth associated with oversized vintage eyewear, the frame has a relatively narrow overall width, making it good for those who like a larger lens shape without an excessively wide fit.
