• Dunhill 6108 70 vintage glasses, an original new old stock frame made in Germany around 1990. One of Dunhill's most distinctive oversized eyewear designs, the 6108 features a substantial square shape with deep lenses and the refined detailing associated with vintage Alfred Dunhill eyewear. Colour 70 has a translucent off-white Optyl front, contrasted with slim gold-tone metal temples. The sides feature Dunhill's distinctive diamond-pattern detailing and signature emblem, adding a luxurious finish without distracting from the bold proportions of the frame. Optyl was widely used in premium European eyewear of the period and is valued for being lightweight despite allowing designers to create substantial frame shapes. Here, it gives the Dunhill 6108 its impressive oversized appearance without making the frame feel excessively heavy. The Dunhill 6108 is also associated with Jay-Z, who wore the same model in a different colourway during an appearance on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross. Its combination of oversized proportions, gold detailing and early-1990s luxury styling has since made the 6108 one of the more recognisable vintage Dunhill designs. New old stock and unworn, preserved for decades. With a 61mm lens width, 50mm lens depth and 144mm overall frame width, this is a genuinely large pair of glasses rather than a standard frame with slightly oversized style.
