• Claudia Carlotti Zesty CS vintage sunglasses, an exceptionally unusual new old stock design handmade in France during the 1980s. The Zesty has the bold, highly individual proportions associated with Claudia Carlotti eyewear of the period. A strong, almost flat brow line sits above wide rectangular lenses, creating an architectural silhouette with unmistakable 1980s character. The frame is finished in richly mottled black and gold acetate, with natural-looking variations running through the material Broad temples continue the substantial proportions of the front and feature the Claudia Carlotti emblem, while the left lens carries further designer branding. Original-style brown graduated lenses complement the warm tones of the acetate and provide 100% UV protection. Original Claudia Carlotti frames are increasingly difficult to find, particularly in unused condition and in such distinctive designs. Ideal for someone looking for genuinely unusual 1980s designer sunglasses rather than a conventional vintage shape.
