When I first spotted Poker Face on a followers Instagram, I was instantly intrigued. The look alone, those bold, gold double bridged aviator sunglasses had me hooked before I even pressed play. This stylish series brings vintage flair to modern television and the eyewear is pure perfection.

A Vintage Mystery with Modern Edge
Created by filmmaker Rian Johnson ( Knives Out, Glass Onion. Star Wars Episode VIII - The Last Jedi), Poker Face marks his first venture into television, and it doesn't disappoint.
The show follows Charlie Cole, played brilliantly by Natasha Lyonne, a quick qitted drifter with an extrodinary talent: she can always tell when someone's lying. Chanelling the spirit of 70s and 80s dectectives classics like Columbo, the series blends murder mystery intrigue with vintage Americana cool. One of the first things that strikes me is Cole's husky voice, that is reminiscent of Marge Simpson.

Costume & Eyewear
Costume designer Trayce Gigi Field is the creative force behind Poker Face's distinctive aesthetic. In an interview with Indie Wire, Field described the look as "70s meets Western meets desert girl, you know?,” - and it shows.
The result? A wardrobe full of character: tailored jackets, denim, cowboy boots and of course vintage sunglasses that steal every scene. The gold aviator sunglasses Lyonne's character wears have already become her on-screen signature, effortlessly combining toughness with retro charm.
Whether she's solving crimes or evading danger, those tinted lenses capture the perfect mix of mystery and nostalgia.
