• Chameleon is a super rare and original 1950's interchangeable brow supra frame. The frame comes with six pairs of rubber brow inserts; maroon, cerise marble, mint marble, aqua marble, yellow marble and blue marble. The inserts can be pressed into the brow groove and pushed out to change with the metal instrument provided via a hole at the back of the frame. This is accessible when the temple sides are folded shut. The cat eye shape is striking, the temple sides have a gentle curve. The frame is in excellent condition with sign of gentle wear. The frame is currently fitted with prescription lenses which will need to be changed to suit, as sunglasses or spectacles lenses.  We would recommend using  Trivex lenses for supra frames, as this super tough material prevents the lenses from chipping, prolonging the life of your new vintage spectacles. Due to our high level of glazing expertise with original vintage frames,  we do recommend that we supply the lenses for you on this frame.
